This system in prefect for transporting long rods to and from your boat or to the beach. The locking rod & reel holder securely mounts to any vehicles cross bars on there luggage racks. The rod and reels are locked to allow for safe travel and to deture theft. We offer 2 systems, a collar lock that locks each rod and reel separately and a cable locking system that locks all the rod and reels with one lock. Each unit is made from aerospace grade aluminum and all hardware is made from stainless steel. The powder coat finish protects the unit from the harsh outdoor environment. The PVC insert protects your reel from damage during travel. The Tip holders are lined with 3/4" foam to protect your rods. These systems are made to last. We recommend using a 3/16" shank lock as this size fits our pins for easy removal. Our mounting brackets have leveling feet so the system looks great on all vehicles.
